Specialist Plant
LGP - Low Ground Pressure
Reaching soft, waterlogged and sensitive ground with minimal disturbance - tracked plant that spreads its weight and floats on the surface, where a heavier machine would sink or scar.
Access without the damage
Working on ground that will not take a heavy machine
Low ground pressure (LGP) is about spreading a machine's weight over a large tracked footprint, so it sits lightly on the surface instead of cutting into it. That lets us investigate soft made ground, peat, saturated soils, agricultural land, embankments and other sensitive settings with minimal disturbance - reaching positions a wheeled or heavier rig simply could not, and leaving the ground close to how we found it.
LGP window sampling
Light, tracked sampling rigs
Our tracked window sampling rigs are the mainstay of our LGP work - light, manoeuvrable and low-ground-pressure, they get onto soft and sensitive ground and into confined positions while still recovering soil samples, carrying out in-situ testing and installing monitoring wells. Because they disturb so little, they are ideal for gardens, verges, live highways and any site where the surface has to be protected.
Norcar tracked telehandler
Moving plant across the worst ground
The Norcar A7545 4T tracked telehandler is designed to leave little to no sign of having been near a site. Its over-size track bases are pivot mounted to allow access over rough terrain whilst appearing to float on the surface, without leaving so much as a mark in sodden ground.
It carries up to 1500kg across rough or waterlogged terrain and tows up to 3500kg, which overcomes the age-old problem of getting compressors, bowsers and materials in and out of difficult sites.
